Prof. Farah Syed is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at DJ Sindh Government Science College, Karachi, where she also serves as the Head of the Computer Science Department and the Focal Person for Information Technology (IT). She is dedicated to promoting academic excellence, innovation, and digital transformation in higher education.

She holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Sindh and an MS in Software Engineering from Mohammad Ali Jinnah University (MAJU), Karachi. Throughout her professional career, she has contributed significantly to both teaching and educational administration.

Before joining DJ Sindh Government Science College, she served as a Lecturer at the Government College of Commerce and Economics. She later joined the Reform Support Unit (RSU) as a Program Manager, where she worked closely with the World Bank and played a key role in the successful implementation of the *Annual School Census* for three consecutive years. She also served as an Administrative Officer at RSU and received professional training from organizations including the World Bank, UNICEF, and LUMS. She also participated in educational training in Malaysia focused on School Management Systems.

At DJ Sindh Government Science College, Prof. Farah Syed has been actively involved in academic planning, admissions, curriculum development, examination management, website development, and institutional quality enhancement. She has also served as Deputy Head Examiner for HSC Practical Examinations and has coordinated numerous academic and administrative initiatives.

Her professional interests include software engineering, educational technology, digital governance, academic leadership, and capacity building. She is committed to empowering students with quality education, fostering innovation, and preparing graduates to meet the challenges of the modern professional world.
