Director General College Education Visit

Date: November 27, 2025 DJ Sindh Government Science College, Karachi, had the honour of welcoming Prof. Mirchand Oad, Director General Colleges, Sindh, on an insightful institutional visit aimed at reviewing academic progress and infrastructural needs. Reception & Overview: He was warmly received by Prof. Muhammad Mohsin Shaikh, Principal, who presented the college’s heritage, achievements, and academic profile. Prof. Gulab Rai, Additional Director Colleges, accompanied the DG throughout the visit. Campus Inspection: Prof. Oad visited classrooms, science laboratories, the Main Campus Building, A.Q. Khan Block, M.Sc. Block, and the Principal’s Bungalow (School Education Office). He reviewed teaching processes, laboratory facilities, infrastructural conditions, and departmental requirements. He appreciated the discipline of students and the commitment of the faculty. Administrative Discussions Key deliberations focused on academic enhancement, strengthening science education, student counseling, co-curricular growth, and immediate infrastructural priorities. The DG emphasized aligning traditional strengths with modern academic demands and assured continued support from the Directorate. Conclusion: The visit provided valuable guidance for future development.
